Due to being pregnant, or bad weather, or traveling being too hard with babies too young, we have only had Thanksgiving down in Utah once. The stars aligned this time and we were able to go again. In previous years Thanksgiving at Grandma's house has included loads and loads of cousins, but this year it was just my parents, grandparents, and some of my siblings and their families. We still had a ping-pong table full of food, and a long string of tables to fit us all. It was fantastic. And to make matters even better, Dax slept through the meal. I'm so glad we got to go.
Although, I'm not so sure everyone else was glad we were there, when the next day Link and Dax had some sort of stomach bug. Poor guys. Sorry everyone!
Regardless, we were able to have a fabulous time.
Unbeknownst to us, Dad had been having chest pains for a while and assumed they were caused by acid reflux. Friday night they got so bad he ended up in the hospital and had a couple stents put in his artery near his heart. Modern medicine is miraculous, and we are so grateful Grandpa is still here for us to enjoy.
